Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has delivered five rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes to Evergreen International Storage & Transport Corporation in Taiwan.
The cranes will be used in Taoyuan Inland Container Terminal and Hsichih Inland Container Terminal.
Evergreen International S[ds_preview]torage & Transport Corporation offers inland container terminal services to customers all over Taiwan, including lifting operations and control of inbound and outbound containers; container repairing and cleaning service; and warehousing in the distribution center. The company is now expanding the business to international logistics market. The new RTG cranes will significantly improve operational efficiency in the inland container terminals as well as help the company to achieve their business targets Kalmar stated.
The RTG cranes feature a low-emission diesel engine and an all-electric trolley, wheel turning and spreader. The five new RTGs joined a fleet of six Kalmar empty container handlers at Evergreen International Storage & Transport Corporation. The cranes were delivered from Kalmar‘s joint venture Rainbow-Cargotec Industries in Taicang, China.
