On March 30, 2010, Nobiskrug Shipyard celebrated the launch of its then latest newbuild with the hull number 782, s one of five mega yachts currently under construction by Nobiskrug.

Following an old tradition, a hearty soup was served in the shipbuilding hall for all employees and subcontractors. During the[ds_preview] launching ceremony, the Yard’s Managing Directors and the Project Manager Mr Mark Velthaus as well as the Owner’s Representative expressed their thanks for the trustful and successful cooperation.

The finished hull of the yacht ran smoothly from the slipway into the River Eider within seconds. For a period of time, the 74 m superyacht remained at Nobiskrug’s pier before she was be taken into the 160 m superyacht hall for interior outfitting, filling and final top-coating. Delivery of the yacht is planned for 2011, so that she can leave the cold river Eider for warmer areas.

About four weeks later, on April 27, the Rendsburg shipyard celebrated another yacht newbuilds launch: yacht number 783 was to be launched thereby celebrating the completion of the structural work. Both the interior and exterior design of this mega yacht are from Reymond Langton Design, London / GB.

The Mayor of Rendsburg, Mr Andreas Breitner, and the yacht owners were among the guests invited to the celebration. The managing directors, project leaders and the yacht owners all spoke about the excellent project cooperation in their speeches. They also gave high praise for the successfully completed work.

After sliding gently into the River Eider the 74 m long motor yacht remained on the west pier of the Nobiskrug Shipyard for some time. Later she was taken into the superyacht hall for final top-coating and interior outfitting, before this mega yacht is presented to her owners.
